Thousands of digital comic books are available with a click of your mouse or a tap of your finger with Comics Plus: Library Edition.

 

All you need is your library card and a web browser to get started. You can even download the Comics Plus: Library Edition app for iPhone and iPad to take your borrowed comics on the go!

The library has joined a new online program called Universal Class. To sign up for free classes, come to the library. Using your Brooklyn library card it only takes a few minutes. Once you are signed up, you will have access to over 500 different courses offered that you may access with your own computer wherever you are, home, vacation, wi-fi, etc. You are allowed to sign up for 5 at a time. The classes do have tests & some homework, and you are given Continuing Education Units when finished that may enhance your job or help with homeschoolers. (CEUs generally not recognized by colleges)

 Choose from over 7,000 high quality-shorts, features,  documentaries, classic tv shows including comedies, horror, dramas and web series from 85 countries including films from major festivals such as Sundance, Cannes and Tribeca. Patrons of Brooklyn Town Library can enjoy unlimited access by using their library card barcode.

JobNow! is a free database of information to help job seekers with their resumes and interview skills. It's free and accessible from your home

You will need to create a new RBdigital account.You may learn more about RBdigital Media Manager underneath the red "QUICK SEARCH" box you will find. In the Help Section of the menu bar, there are video tutorials for the Media Manager and for Setting Up An Account as well as support available via email, FAQs, player tutorial and devices.
    Titles are checked out for 14 days with a maximum number of 10 checkouts. You may renew the title for 7 days. You may also create holds for up to 3 titles. This requires having a dual profile. 

 

 RBdigital magazines presents 60+ magazine titles whose content may be accessed by all Town Library patrons. You may download it to your local computer or device and save the whole magazine if you want, or select individual articles or recipes to save.
